How long until it arrives?

Every piece is made after you order it. Bookshelves and custom builds take 3 to 6 weeks in the workshop; in-stock items leave in 3 to 5 business days. Transit is then 1 to 3 business days to the East Coast, 2 to 4 to the Midwest and 6 to 7 to the West Coast.

Can I order a size that isn't listed?

Yes. The dropdowns cover our standard widths, depths and shelf counts. For anything outside them, email info@woodneststore.com with your measurements before ordering and we will quote the custom build.

Does it need to be anchored to the wall?

The frame stands on its own on a level floor. As with any tall shelving, we recommend anchoring it if there are small children or pets in the home, and loading the heaviest items on the lower shelves.

Will the wood look exactly like the photos?

Close, but not identical. Grain, knots and tone shift from board to board, and oak warms slightly as it ages. That variation is what tells you it is solid wood rather than a printed surface.

How does it ship, and what does it cost?

Free across the continental U.S. It travels flat-packed and padded via USPS, UPS or FedEx, whichever suits the size and destination.

What if it doesn't work in the room?

You can request a refund within 14 days of purchase, with the piece unused and in new condition. Return shipping is yours to cover unless it arrived damaged, in which case we pay it and send a replacement or a full refund. Refunds are processed 5 to 7 business days after the return reaches us.

How do I look after it?

Dust with a dry or barely damp cloth. Skip silicone polishes and abrasive cleaners. Keep it out of direct sun and away from a radiator so the wood does not dry unevenly.
